Hi,
Just found your series recently and am hooked!
Loved your 3 suggestions, but a couple of others that I suggest:
Discombobulate by Hans Zimmer from the recent Sherlock Holmes,
Mutiny Also by Hans Zimmer from Crimson Tide,
and also In The House – In A Heartbeat by John Murphy from 28 Days Later.
Cheers,
Nik
hey nik! cool you like it and welcome on board. agree on the 2 hans zimmer ones. haven’t listened to the 28 days later one but given that john murphy’s contribution to sunshine was wicked, i’ll expecting good things for my ear canals. check out the comments on the other movies of the ear eps, there are some great suggestions.
Great choices Tomas.
Schindler’s List – Before even seeing the movie, you’re already emotionally gripped by the music. Such a great piece of work. Quite different to what I normally think of when I hear John Williams.
What do you think about the Mission soundtrack Tomas?
Has to be in my Top 5.
Nik, if you like your Zimmer, do check out ‘The Thin Red Line’ soundtrack. That and ‘Last Samurai’ have some gems in it.
Thanks for the suggestions Michael, I remember the Last Samurai has some great music to it, will have to pick the soundtrack up. Haven’t seen the Thin Red Line yet, its on the ever extending list of films to watch haha.
If you haven’t listened to the John Murphy one yet Tomas, make sure you listen in the dark, with the volume up for full creepy, atmospheric effect haha.
Nik
Whoa! Its been ages since I went on this! They are still awesome! The soundtrack for Schindlers list.
I recommend you do something on fight songs, look at the best fights in good movies, they all have brilliant music.
So I dont know, dont stop making videos tomas! Keep going! Its almost been 3 months…. well 4 months when this was made.
